We're going PINK this year!!! So far, nine kids on the ground and 8 are doelings!!!! Check out our Kid News! This month (July 2018) we chose to retest our entire adult herd. We are very happy to report that we have confirmed, AGAIN, that our herd is free of CAE, CL, Johnes Disease, and Brucella (Bangs).
We did not test any kids from this year.....honestly...if their parents are clean, so are they! Anyone interested in buying some of our stock can request a copy of the test results through out email link at kalispell_kinders@live.com ![]() Alright, alright!!! Finally, our second place winners have their prizes!!! To Kimberly Thompson who guessed RSR Naavah's twins, homemade from Kalispell Kinders: Silky Skin Please cream, Goat Milk soap, & Echinacea Tincture! ![]() To Mary Mummert who guessed MTK Davi's QUADS, handmade from the heart, an afghan. Thank you ladies for participating in our first Kidding 'K'ount 'K'ontest!!!! Nick & Brenda Lee If you remember recently we had a Kalispell Kinders 'K'idding 'K'ount 'Kontest. Though we didn't have a grand prize winner we did have some 2nd and 3rd place winners.
Our third place winners Patricia & Danielle have finally decided on names!!! So welcome our Montana HomesteadTM Starlight and Montana HomesteadTM Dara!!!! Both doelings are out of our beautiful Montana HomesteadTM Davi and our Evans Northern Shire Farm Noshi. Thank you ladies for the names! Blessings Nick & Brenda Le OK everyone, here's a challenge just for all you goat lovers out there. Kalispell Kinders is having a Kidding 'K'ontest!!!! Try saying that fast, three times!!!! Got your attention yet? So what's the 'K'ontest? Simple really......but not easy either......all you have to do is guess how many kids our does are going to have......sounds simple?
Zuri blessed us..........![]() There's a saying 'saving the best for last' and that is exactly what our Zuri did. At 1 a.m. on July 1st our Zuri blessed us with a very precious little 3.5 lb doeling. Small she may be, but perfect is the only word to describe her. Not only is she a stout little girl, but this black and white spotted angel has waddles as well. Our joy was overshadowed by sorrow because on July 3rd, we said our last goodbyes to our Zur Zur. So we are introducing Montana Homestead Una. Appropriately named 'Remember' in Hopi, because we will always remember what our Zuri gave us with this precious little bundle of hooves. ![]() Thank you Zur Zur we're going to miss you........... Ah, Davi......no longer my baby girl![]() Well, Davi decided to wait until 30 minutes into her 150 day pregnancy. What a show! With Naavah, of course, loudly proclaiming another blessed event. First came our smallest, at just 2 pounds, but a carbon copy of her mom was she. Sporting a white crown to show what a Queen she was! Our next little arrival was also a carbon copy of Davi. Coming in at 4 pounds, she was all legs and love. Though being a twin to her sister is fun, she had to be just a little different. What girl doesn't want to be? Choosing for forgo her crown, made her no less regal than her smaller sibling. Finally, as our excitement continued, with our yawns, came out our 4 pound handsome black buckling. Though his suit, suited us just fine, he chose to add a little splash to stand out! Well done Davi, well done! Our little girl isn't a baby anymore! Naavah had twins!!!!Thought we would finally get the ball rolling with our two newest additions!! Naavah proved again what a good mommy she is. First on the barn floor was a cute black buckling with brown socks. Stripes on his face and a white star on top completed this little fella. But little wasn't exactly right, coming in at 6 pounds already chattering like a BIG boy! But Miss Naavah wasn't done just yet. Coming in at 5.5 pounds is an adorable little doeling. Not to be outdone by big brother, she also has a white star on top. But what is a girl without her jewerly? Stealing the show with waddles, this beautiful doeling has it all! How can you NOT LOVE those cuties!!!! Blessings Nick & Brenda Lee Now that the Fair has come and gone, and with the loss of our sweet Oma as well, we try to settle in to our 'new normal' whatever that will be. Taking a moment break from the garden to do something LONG overdue......
And the winner is? |
